[CES 2012] At CES 2012, HEX demonstrated its Recon and Varsity bag collections. Designed to carry your tablets and laptops in style, these messenger bags have a unique feature that you don’t see in other bags: an “easy access iPad bay”. This compartment on the side of the bag allows you to store your iPad or any other similar-sized tablet for easy access. This means that you’ll be able to surf the web, watch a movie or play a game on the tablet without having to take it out of your bag – a convenient feature especially if you take the public commute.
The bag’s padded front flap acts as a protective cover when you’re not using the tablet, and a tablet in a bag means you’ll never have to worry about dropping it on the floor – especially if the bag’s strap is around your neck. The inside of the bag includes compartments for you to store other objects such as laptops. Soft-lined pockets and critical weight-area padding ensure everything in your bag is protected; and let’s not forget these bags have the form to match its functionality.
