The good news for Canon DSLR owners out there is that if you have some nice Canon lenses lying around, the C300 will be available with two different lens mount options. The first would be able to accept Canon’s proprietary EF-series of lenses, while the other lens mount will be able to take industry standard PL-type lenses. On top of that, the C300 also appears to be capable of recording 4:2:2 MPEG-2 video to dual-CF cards at a native resolution of 1080p.
Unfortunately this bad boy does not appear to be priced for the masses and will set you back a whopping $15,999. Both the EOS C300 and EOS C300 PL are expected to start shipping after the 30th of January, but in the mean time if you’d like more information or even place a pre-order of your own, head on over to B&H’s website.
