Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 content season to kick off with two multiplayer maps

If you’re an Xbox 360 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 player and a Call of Duty: Elite premium subscriber, we’ve got some good news for you. Today, Activision announced that the Modern Warfare 3 content season – 9 months of DLC – will kick off in two weeks. Available first to Elite premium users on the Xbox 360, and to non-premium users at a later date, get ready to expand your MW3 experience with tons of new features over the next 9 months.

The first DLC will be available on January 24^th: two brand new multiplayer levels – Liberation: a map based on New York which favors snipers and tactical gameplay, and Piazza: a map based on Italy that favors those of you who like up-close and personal battles. Judging by the video demonstration, the maps look beautiful and a whole lot of fun to play with. Check out a behind the scenes video below:
