Verizon Galaxy Nexus on display in New York City

No, the phone still doesn’t have an official release date and price, but we’re yet another step closer to getting our hands on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Verizon’s network. It’s been reported that the Samsung Experience store in New York City now has the Verizon Galaxy Nexus on display. Curious or interested folk can head over there to check out the device and play around with the first Ice Cream Sandwich phone.

According to the folks over at The Verge who played around with the device there – the Verizon Galaxy Nexus is slightly thicker and noticeable particularly if you’ve got the thinner GSM version. The Verizon version also features 32GB of internal storage, LTE capabilities, and of course two Verizon apps – My Verizon Mobile and VZ Backup Assistant (both can be disabled with the built-in app manager). The phone is also said to have its internals rearranged a bit – with the SIM card slot on the left side for the LTE version. Head over to the source link for more comparison photographs.
