Star Wars fans were undoubtedly disappointed at how the Star Wars Xbox bundle was delayed to 2012. Back when we had originally reported the delay, there was no information on a possible release time frame, but thanks to new information sources, a possible release date of the Star Wars Xbox bundle could be set for April of 2012.
This thanks to a source who revealed to Kotaku the possible release date of the the game along with the special edition console. The original reason behind the delay was because the developers felt that the game required a bit more work before being pushed out to the public. No doubt that fans will ultimately appreciate the attention to quality, but needless to say it is still somewhat of a disappointment.
Online retailers have set a variety of dates ranging from February 2012 and even all the way up till December 2012 for Amazon. With no official confirmation we can only take this with a grain of salt for now, but at least we have a rough time frame that we can look forward to now.
