First up with have the Sony Ericsson LT26 aka Nozomi. The phone will be similar to what we’ve already seen in the past. What’s interesting is that the phone is said to be launching with Gingerbread and will have Ice Cream Sandwich released in the near future. If that is true, then it looks like the phone should be released pretty soon. The phone is said to have no capacitive buttons (like the Galaxy Nexus) so it doesn’t make sense that it’ll launch with Gingerbread but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
The Nozomi’s specs: 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.3″ Reality display with Bravia Engine and 720 x 1280 resolution, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 12-megapixel camera with Exmor R, and a 1,750mAh battery.
Next up is the Sony Ericsson LT22 aka Nypon, which will feature a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 4″ WhiteMagic qHD display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and an 8-megapixel Exmor R camera. The phone will also feature a 1,320mAh battery which is strange considering nearly every other Xperia phone has had a 1,500mAh battery. Perhaps Sony Ericsson are aiming for a slimmer and smaller device? We’ll have to wait and see. The Nypon will also launch with Gingerbread.
Lastly there is the ST25 aka Kumquat which is said to be the successor of the Xperia mini. The phone will have a 3.5″ Reality Display with Bravia Engine, a dual-core 1GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera with Exmor R, and will launch with Android Gingerbread.
No word on when these phones will be released, but if the rumors are on the dot, it looks like we’ll have some pretty interesting Sony Ericsson devices arriving in the near future. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted.
