Problem? Verizon Galaxy Nexus multi-touch issues
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus might be the first smartphone from the Android platform off the blocks that will be powered by the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, but that does not mean it has no niggling issues plaguing it. So far, we do know that signal issues have hit the device, where Verizon claims the signal strength as represented on the display is actually lower than the real deal, so a software fix coming your way ought to right that “wrong”, although we do wonder just what the truth is. Apart from that, there are owners of the Galaxy Nexus who have complained that multi-touch does not work the way it is supposed to be, and in the video after the jump, one tries to play Pew Pew, and after a few minutes, you might just realize that firing to the lower right on the right stick, while moving with the left stick simultaneously might get you in a jam as the right stick is unresponsive, making the game unplayable in the process. Go ahead, give it a go – anyone else suffering from the same problem? Hopefully there is a patch from Verizon to fix this, and soon.
