LED “nose light” glows when you breathe

Breathing comes naturally to most, if not all, of us. In fact we do it without even having to think about it, so why on earth would we want to “glam” it up? Well, we’re not sure what the motivation behind this draft-sensing nose light was for its creator Noda Akira, but we’re guessing he was just showing off its functionality albeit in a rather novel fashion.

As you can see in the photo above, the LED is stuck up in your nose and reacts to your breathing and will light up every time you breathe. If you ever played games with your friends to see how long both of you can hold your breath, this could be the device you might want to use to ensure that neither one of you cheats! Once again, we really don’t see why on earth anyone would want such a device, perhaps for Halloween or for those who enjoy attending rave parties and feel that the neon glow sticks, laser beams and strobing lights just aren’t enough.
