This is not the first time that a carrier has attempted at giving Apple’s iPhone NFC capabilities as carriers in Korea have rolled out similar services in the form of NFC-enabled SIM cards and phone cases. This phone clamp, as the name implies, will basically be attached to the back of your iPhone and provide NFC capabilities, which in turn can be used for mobile payment services via EasyCard and MasterCard PayPass.
We’re not sure how many of you guys out there actually need/want NFC capabilities, but it’s good to know that there are options out there available should Apple never decide to add an NFC chip to future iPhone devices.
