HP Wireless TV Connect system arrives at the FCC
If you happen to hang out at the FCC long enough, you would realize that not only smartphones and tablets make their way there – a slew of other consumer electronics devices do, too. The HP Wireless TV Connect system would be one of the latest of such devices to arrive at the doorsteps of the FCC, where this particular setup will be able to stream video from your computer to HDMI-equipped devices like a HDTV. This particular two part system will comprise of an HDMI dongle and a TV receiver. All you need to do is plug in the HDMI dongle into your PC’s HDMI port, hook up the TV receiver to your TV via HDMI, and you’re good to go, streaming High Definition video straight from your PC to your TV.
What makes the HP HDMI dongle interesting is the fact that it needs to be plugged into a USB port for its power needs using the included USB connector, and should not be too big of a deal on a notebook as long as there is an available USB port. This upgraded version of the HP Wireless TV Connect system is also a whole lot more diminutive compared to previous versions, and we await word from HP on pricing and availability.
