The cloud seems to be quite a fun place to be at these days – just take a look at the number of services that are put up by different companies concerning storing your crucial and important files on the cloud, and you get an idea. Fuji Xerox has just launched a cloud service which will enable you to send, receive, share as well as print documents with your colleagues, in line with the new range of multifunction printers. This Working Folder service will rely on a virtual filing cabinet so that one can access documents through the Internet on a desktop computer, and there is more to it as well – if you want to do so on an Android- or iOS-powered device, it is very possible, as well.
This Fuji Xerox service will roll out in the Land of the Rising Sun this coming December 12th, and it will cost business owners around $45 each month so that 10 users are able to access up to 10GB of storage space. This concept of virtual filing cabinets, will also see the creative use of “drawers” and “folders” which can be shared among other users. I guess Dropbox and Evernote executives might be interested to see this potential rival in greater detail, and with Fuji Xerox targeting 10,000 contracts each year, contemplating on a launch outside of Japan to boot, and we have a very interesting cloud service to consider.
