Firefox 10.0 beta now available for Linux

It was just the other day that Firefox 9 was released a day ahead of its intended release for Windows, Mac and Linux, but the good news for those running Linux systems is that it appears that the Firefox 10.0 beta is now available for all Linux platforms. It will also support both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.

Highlights of Mozilla Firefox 10.0 Beta 1:

· Implemented Anti-Aliasing for WebGL;

· Forward button is hidden by default (it will active when you navigate back);

· Implemented Full Screen APIs to easily build full-screen web apps;

· Support for CSS3 3D-Transform;

· CSS properties support;

· Added <bdi> element for HTML5 bi-directional text isolation;

· Added CSS Style Inspector;

· Added IndexedDB APIs.

With Chrome 16 already out, we’re not sure why Mozilla has decided to release another Firefox so soon, playing catch-up perhaps? Either way for those who are interested in checking out the download, the download links can be found at Softpedia’s website.
