xBounds brings true wireless display mirroring to Android

If you’ve always wanted to have HDMI mirroring capabilities on your Android phone so you could easily share the content on your phone with your friends, you’re in luck. The folks over at xBounds have found a way to do so. xBounds will consist of a little dongle which you plug into your TV and an app on your phone. All users have to do is plug in the dongle to their display’s HDMI port, run the app on the phone and they’re good to go.

Everything you do on the phone will be mirrored on the larger display, which means everything from surfing the web, to editing documents and even when playing games. Your phone still functions as a regular phone which lets you make/answer calls with no problem. Another plus factor would be the dongle’s small size which means it’s very portable. The perfect solution for phones with no HDMI output/mirroring. No word on when it will go on sale in the US but it will set you back about $134 (€99).
