This move will affect games and content bought from the PlayStation Store after the 18th of November. It is believed that this move was brought about due to people activating consoles of their friends allowing them access to free games, which is a move we’re sure Sony will not be pleased about.
However there has not been much noticeable backlash over this move, probably because there aren’t too many PlayStation owners out there who own multiple PS3s and PSPs anyway. At the moment this change is affecting countries such as UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and the Middle East, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the new change in policy will extend to other territories in the near future.
