Samsung Wave 3 smartphone announced
Samsung’s range of Galaxy S2 smartphones might be the biggest seller for them at the moment simply for the fact that they’re pretty much solid pieces of hardware that run just fine, but that does not mean they do not have other interests lying around. Having announced the commercial availability of their flagship 4” Wave 3 smartphone, this handset will be released in France first, followed by Germany, Italy, Russia and other global markets later this year. Continuing in the heritage of the Wave series in terms of style, the Samsung Wave 3 will come with a unique 9.9mm full metal case made out of anodized brushed aluminum.
Underneath the hood lies a 1.4GHz processor as well as HSPA 14.4 Mbps connectivity support, not to mention embedded HD video capability, Samsung’s bada 2.0 as the operating system of choice, which offers a highly personalized Live Panel home screen. As for the other hardware specifications, the Samsung Wave 3 carries a 4″ WVGA Super AMOLED display, a 5-megapixel camera at the back, Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, and a microSD memory card slot.
