PlayStation Network downloads to be limited to two devices
Sony has announced today that future games purchased on the PlayStation Network will only be granted activation on two devices at any one time (it used to be five). However, it will only take effect on November 18th and will not affect any games bought before the date. Fortunately, gamers can use a PSN account management website via their computers, which lets them handle the activation/deactivation of game licenses.
This should mean that you’ll still be able to access your PSN games on all your devices – just that the same title won’t be available on more than two devices at once. Then again, how many different consoles do you need to play the same game on anyway? Anybody irked by this new change in policy?
