Lomography LomoKino Super 35 Movie Maker Camera creates old school films
While we have plenty of apps that have filters to give our videos shot on our smartphones an old school, retro feel, there’s nothing quite like shooting movies on authentic vintage equipment. Thanks to Lomography, you won’t have to fork out an exorbitant amount of money on buying a vintage video camera to get the job done. The company has just released the LomoKino Super 35 – a video camera that accepts any kind of 35mm film cartridge.
The LomoKino Super 35 snaps 144 images over a period of 60 seconds, allowing you to create your own short clips – you even get to rotate the hand-crank by yourself to power the device because it doesn’t make use of batteries at all. Once you’re done shooting your videos, you can purchase a Lomokinoscope or use a web tool from Lomography to convert it into a digital movie.
The LomoKino Super 35 will set you back $79, while for an additional $19 you can get the Lomokinoscope, a film canister and a book about the creation of the device. Find out more.
