The device appears to be quite the powerhouse, and based on its specs it looks to be the answer to Samsung’s Galaxy S2, possibly even giving the handset a run for its money. For those not familiar with the handset, the LG Nitro HD will pack a 1.5GHz dual-core processor under the hood with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card, a 4.5” 720p HD 1280×720 display, an 8MP camera with support for AT&T’s brand new 4G LTE network.
The LG Nitro HD will also be coming with Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 on board, and while there’s no word on whether the device will be getting an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 in the future, it would be hard to believe that LG has no plans to bring ICS onto the device. No word on pricing or availability, but we expect more details to surface over time. So, who else is excited?
