Not much is known about the device for now, and what sort of content it will be offering, but what we do know is that Lenovo will be rolling it out in the first quarter of 2012 which seems to suggest that it is possible we could be seeing it debut at CES 2012. With Lenovo’s plans for a cloud-based service of their own that will synch with all their devices across the board much like Apple and Google’s offerings, it’s safe to assume that the LeTV will probably have something to do with Lenovo’s cloud services as well.
Given how Lenovo’s products seem to be launched in China first (or exclusively), we’ll have to wonder if their upcoming LeTV will be making its way stateside or into an international market, or with companies such as Samsung and LG poised for smart TVs of their own, how will Lenovo fair against that competition?
