Blackberry smartphones have had a tough time trying to stay relevant compared to the iPhone and the throngs of Android devices currently flooding the market. In fact, RIM’s smartphone platform market share has seen nothing but a decline with the emergence of iOS and Android.
With their brand new BBX platform (formerly known as QNX, which can be found on the Blackberry PlayBook tablet), RIM is hoping to recapture the market, and if these rumors of possible 4G LTE connectivity on the Blackberry Colt are to be believed, the Blackberry Colt just got a whole lot more interesting. Let’s hope the rest of the specs don’t disappoint.
