Adobe Touch Apps hit the Android Market

Adobe might have killed of mobile Flash, but that does not mean they are left with nothing else to offer computer users. Today, they annonuced the availability of Adobe Touch Apps for the Android Market, where it comprises of half a dozen intuitive touch screen applications which were clearly inspired by Adobe Creative Suite software. I guess you can more or less call it the super lite version, where tablet users can enjoy professional-level creativity with either their finger or stylus as the image editing tool of choice.

Adobe Photoshop Touch is there for image editing purposes, while Adobe Collage targets moodboards, with Adobe Debut being useful to present and review creative work, while Adobe Ideas paves the way for sketching, and Adobe Kuler helps you explore color themes. Last but not least, the Adobe Proto is perfect for website and mobile app prototyping. As long as your device runs on Android 3.1 or higher, it is good to go – which clearly rules out most smartphones other than the Galaxy Nexus.

Adobe says that the other five apps will hit the iOS platform early next year, so don’t feel so bad Apple users. After all, you already dished out your brand of justice with the demise of mobile Flash. [Press Release]
