What the app does is that whenever the caller, who is hard of hearing, makes a call, it will be routed and connected to the CapTel service, where the caller will not only be able to hear the call, but also be able to read conversations with real-time word-for-word captions on their phones on what the other person is saying.
Users will be given a special Wireless CapTel by Sprint, which they will have to give to their friends and family and to anyone who wishes to contact them. We’re guessing that this number will be routed and connected to the CapTel service from which the real time captions will be generated.
