Skyrim PC requirements officially announced

We are about two weeks away from the release of Bethesda’s long-awaited sequel to Oblivion: Skyrim, and the company has given us a reason to upgrade our computers. Bethesda has just announced the official recommended and minimum PC requirements for the game so consumers will know if they need to fork out some extra money to enjoy the game when it goes on sale in November.

Judging by the official specs, it looks like Bethesda is trying to include folks with gamers from all walks, as the minimum requirements aren’t very high but as usual – playing the game on a minimum spec computer means that you won’t be able to experience it in all its full glory. Check out the required specs for yourself and let us know if you’ll be getting an upgrade just to play Skyrim:

DirectX compatible sound card
Internet access for Steam activation
