The Kinect-like gesture technology will help consumers to use their touchscreen devices under certain conditions i.e. when their hands are dirty, they’re wearing gloves or even when they’re driving and their phone is mounted or on the passenger’s seat. Things they’ll be able to do include answering/rejecting calls and playing music. Then again, how many gestures do you really when you’re in a situation where you can’t hold the phone with your own hands?
