NAVIGON for Windows Phone 7 launched

Don’t want to use Bing Maps on your Windows Phone device? Well you’re not left with many choices, but today – NAVIGON has added one more to the list with NAVIGON for Windows Phone 7. The app has useful features such as spoken turn-by-turn directions, visual lane guidance, live traffic information and rerouting, among many other features.

Taking advantage of Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango), it features an augmented reality function Reality Scanner, which lets users instantly and effortlessly identify nearby destinations while travelling on foot (or in a very, very slow car). Users can also select addresses directly from the phone’s contact list to locate it on the map. For folks who like speeding, the app also has a Speed Assistant that alerts drivers when they’re going too quickly or are driving by speed and red light cameras.
