Murata Bendable Remote hands-on

[CEATEC 2011] Some of us are conniving enough to twist the truth to suit the convenience of the situation, squirming out of rather tricky situations with our choice of words. Well, as we promised last month, the bendable remote control from Murata has been spotted at CEATEC, and you can check out a video of it in action right after the jump as we scoured the showfloor of CEATEC.

Just to recap, this particular device will feature highly transparent organic piezoelectric film that can detect both bends and twists, letting you generate commands in various gestures that require far more muscles and movement than the standard operating procedure of your fingers on most touchscreen devices today. At least twisting your way through to get a command sent to another device this time around does not require any manipulation or deceit on your part.
