According to Raul China, the founder of DesignHuman Colectiv, a design studio based in Miami, “It is born out of necessity and frustration. Digital music does not have to equate to horrible sound.” Sure, audio quality for digital formats aren’t exactly as warm as what you would get via a vinyl player, but they have certainly improved a long way since MP3s came into existence. Some might say that using Bluetooth to connect to a device will further disparage its quality, but then again, I think casual listeners won’t mind. Expect the +KNOB Bluetooth speaker to cost $100 a pop if you are interested.
