I guess life took a different turn as the app was delayed without any particular reasons, even resulting in a prominent developer to leave Facebook out of frustration. Said developer even reported that it had been “feature complete” even in May itself, and the recent Facebook f8 developer conference in September failed to deliver any mention of the iOS update.
Better late than never I say, where today’s update to Facebook 4.0 finally sees native iPad support thrown into the current Facebook application so that iPad users can now enjoy an optimized user interface for the tablet, boasting higher resolution photos, improved navigation and access to Facebook apps and games. Not only that, you are able to zoom in on photos, updates and stories as well as share photos and status updates without having to take leave from the news feed. Have you gotten your free update from the App Store yet, and how do you find it?
