Under the hood of the Evolio U9 runs an Intel Atom CPU. However unlike its predecessor which can be found in older netbooks, this Atom instead is based on Intel’s more recent Intel Cedarview architecture which should prove to bring about slight improvements in frequencies, along with better integrated graphics with support for Full HD acceleration and Blu-ray 2.0.
The Evolio U9 will feature 2GB of RAM and will come with the option of either a 64GB or 128GB solid state drive. Its screen size is 11.6” and will sport a resolution of 1366×768, a 1.3MP built-in webcam along with an HDMI video output. All these features will be packed into a chassis 18mm thick. It is expected to go on sale in December although there is no word on pricing yet.
