Dell XPS 14z unveiled

Dell certainly has a mind to include a bunch of superlatives with their latest release, the 14″ XPS 14z. Despite being their thinnest 14″ effort to date, this is no slouch when it comes to performance as it is a fully-featured notebook that boasts its own internal optical disc drive and discrete graphics solution. Form and function carefully amalgamated into a single device, you will be able to choose from Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors, while letting the HD WLED display keep you well entertained.

Available Stateside from November 1st onwards in the US and Canada, the Dell XPS 14z will then spread its wings worldwide a couple of weeks after that. Tipping the scales at 4.36 pounds and measuring under an inch in thickness, the XPS 14z will certainly turn heads the moment you pull it out from the laptop bag or sleeve.

Other hardware specifications include 6GB RAM (upgradeable to 8GB), an optional 256GB SSD just in case you do not want the 500GB/750GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, USB 3.0, and an integrated 1.3-megapixel webcam.
