CyberpowerPC Gamer Scorpius desktops pack AMD 8-core CPUs

Most games can run fine on a quad-core processor computer. In fact a lot of them already do great on dual-core processor – but that hasn’t stopped processor manufacturers from pushing the bar when it comes to speed and power. AMD recently released its new eight-core Bulldozer FX CPUs, and CyberpowerPC has been one of the companies to quickly take advantage of the processors for its gaming PC lineup.

Called the Gamer Scorpius series, these computers make use of the latest AMD processors which include the AMD FX-8150 3.60 GHz 8-Core CPU; AMD FX-8120 3.10 GHz 8-Core CPU; AMD FX-6100 3.30 GHz 6-Core CPU; and AMD FX-4100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core CPU. The computers will also feature AMD Radeon HD 6000 graphics cards, which can support DirectX 11 technology for ultra-realistic gaming, as well as AMD’s Turbo Core and VISION Engine graphics technology to make videos, games and photos look good.

The CyberpowerPC Gamer Scorpius systems can be customized to fit Xtreme Hydro Liquid Cooling kits, CoolIT ECO-II liquid cooling, and Asetek 500 series liquid coolers, and consumers get to select other hardware and components such as hard drives, SSDs, RAM, drives and more.
