Acer M2 TV monitors headed to Europe

There are TVs, and there are monitors, but it looks like Acer has plans for some sort of hybrid with TV monitors when they released their M2 Series of displays, and adding to that list are the M222HQML, M242HML and the M272HML and they are expected to make their European debut soon.

The difference between all three models would be their size, and with the MH222HQML measuring in a 21.5”, the M242HML at 24” and the M272HML at 27”. Apart from the difference in size, their specs appear to remain largely similar, in the sense that they feature a native resolution of 1920×1080, a 5ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 12,000,000:1, 250cd/m2 brightness, USB connectivity, D-Sub, S-Video and dual HDMI outputs.

It will also feature DVB-T/DVB-C tuner, and thanks to the USB port, external hard drives can be connected to the TV monitor and used to record TV programs or play media from the hard drive directly without the need for a computer. They are expected to retail for €199 ($278), €249 ($348) and €349 ($488).
