Well, Toshiba certainly throws their hat into the ring with the Toshiba DX735 all-in-one PC, where it is touted to be an “entertainment powerhouse”. Will it live up to expectations? The Toshiba DX735 all-in-one PC will run on a choice between an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, while you start off with 4GB of DDR3 RAM. Storage-wise, you won’t find it to be lacking right out of the box, thanks to a 1TB 7200 RPM hard drive. Data transfer to-and-from the computer should also not take too long considering the DX735 relies on a USB 3.0 port, while quartet of USB 2.0 ports are there for old times’ sake.
There is also a ‘Sleep & Charge’ feature that keeps your power hungry devices juiced up using USB connectivity without having to turn on the computer. With a 23″ display, Onkyo stereo speakers and HDMI input, you might find yourself preferring to remain at home more and more, watching movies on it instead of heading to the cinemas. Expect the Toshiba DX735 all-in-one PC to retail from $957 onwards when October 2nd rolls around.
