Splinter Cell Trilogy arrives on PS3
We humans are a nostalgic lot – otherwise, why do we maintain heritage sites, keep diaries, snap photos and record videos? When it comes to growing up, we tend to have had our fair share of favorite video games, never mind that they were played in 8-bit graphics back then – we had our imagination to rely on those pixelized worlds. Well, for the younger generation who grew up during the PS2 era, surely they would have heard of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory before? We’re glad to say that you can now play the role of Sam Fisher all over again with HD resolution graphics – and listen, even 3D.
Yes sir, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Trilogy has finally arrived on the PS3, where it will break cover tomorrow in both hardcopy and softcopy formats. Those who prefer digital downloads can get their copy straight from the PlayStation Store.
The Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Trilogy will retail for $39.99, which might be a wee bit overpriced when you think about it, and the bulk of the work was already done for the PS2 – this is just a refresh in terms of graphical prowess, but I’m sure that Splinter Cell fans won’t mind experiencing everything all over again.
