Sony Tablet S now on sale – in Germany

Good news for Sony Tablet S fans living in Germany – it looks like you won’t have to pre-order the device to get your hands on it. Sony seems to have skipped the pre-order stage for the tablet over there and has gone straight to selling the device. Folks in the country can now purchase the 32GB Tablet S from the official Sony store for €578.99 ($599) while we’ll have to wait until September 16^th to get it stateside. However, those of you who want the smaller 16GB version or the 3G version – you’ll need to wait a bit longer.

The Tablet S is Sony’s first attempt at creating an Android tablet, and from our initial impressions it seems like a pretty sweet device, though we’ll have to wait to get our hands on it for a full review before we can come to a conclusion. Check out the official Sony store for Germany.
