Sony NEX-5N clicking gets silenced

A month after the Sony NEX-5N was launched, along comes a fix that will definitely get owners of the camera smiling – it seems that a fix has been worked on to finally silent the device’s annoying clicking sound. Yes sir, while on paper everything about the 16.1-megapixel shooter seemed to be picture perfect (pardon the pun), not to mention the ability to shoot Full HD video at 60fps without missing a beat, more often than not the first thing that comes into the mind concerning the NEX-5N would be the clicking sound it makes that has kept Sony’s engineers dumbfounded – but no more.

After all, a solution has been found, and Sony remained mum on what caused the defect in the first place, although since the camera is not even a couple of months old and is under the umbrella we call “warranty”, it is eligible for a “performance improvement.” Heck, that’s the least we would expect anyways, considering you’ve already forked out a whopping $899 for it in the first place.
