Main specifications:
Under the hood users will be able to expect a 1.4GHz dual-core processor along with a 5,100 mAh battery that Samsung is claiming will be able to provide up to 10 hours of video playback time. It will also feature a 7.7” display with a WXGA resolution of 1280×800, with a 3MP rear facing camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera. It will be running on Android’s Honeycomb 3.2 and will sporting Samsung’s TouchWiz UX with a Live Panel menu that will allow you to customize your home screen with digital picture. Like it was mentioned before in a leak, users of the Galaxy Tab 7.7 can expect support of 4G LTE and HSPA+ connectivity on the tablet.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 will also be thinner than its predecessor, featuring a thickness (or thinness?) or 7.89mm and a weighing in at a mere 335grams. It’s possible you will be able to fit this into your purse or bag, and possibly your pockets although we think that it might be a bit uncomfortable, and unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 will support both voice and video calls without the need for an additional headset or Bluetooth.
The tablet will be available in 3 sizes – 16GB/32GB/64GB and will sport a microSD card slot that will support to up 32GB. Pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
