Think you know what it takes to improve the Windows Phone operating system? Well, we’ve got some great news for you. Microsoft has just launched the Windows Phone Feature Suggestions forum where anybody with something to say about the mobile operating system can say it and be heard. It seems that Microsoft wants your ideas about on how to improve Windows Phone and is taking them seriously.
Users can head over to the Windows Phone Feature Suggestions page and submit any ideas they have that will make the operating system better. The suggestions will be displayed publicly where other people can submit votes for features that they like or find appealing to uprank it on the charts. The higher it is on the list, the greater the chance of Microsoft noticing it and possibly implementing it into a future version of Windows Phone.
Personally I think it’s a great feature that every operating system developer should have. After all, the operating system is for people to use, and what better way to find out what they want then asking them directly? Take note that any idea you suggest can be used by Microsoft and will be licensed by the company, so don’t submit anything you plan to patent or license for yourself. Right now, Arabic language support, all (Bing) features for non-US countries and Device backup seems to be the most popular requests. Check it out for yourself and offer a suggestion or two and vote for your favorite requests.
