You know just like how Legolas mention one rather cheesy line in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, where he mentioned “A red sun rises…blood has been spilled this night”? Well, just like the red sun, you know for sure that a new handset is about to hit a particular store’s shelves when the dummy unit arrives. Case in point, the LG Enlighten dummy unit over at RadioShack.
This is an entry-level full QWERTY keyboard LG Enlighten, where it has always been associated with “coming soon”, but never really made it yet. Guess all of that is about to come to pass in the near future. What we do know about the phone is this – it is going to be very easy on your pocket, retailing for less than a dollar assuming you sign up for a new 2-year contract.
Hardware specifications include a 3.2″ touchscreen display at 320 x 480 resolution, a rather slow 800MHz processor (in comparison with the high end models, of course – on its own it is good enough for the average phone), with Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the operating system of choice while a 3.2-megapixel camera is located at the back.
