Yet another HTC Android phone is on the way – according to a leaked press shot of a device known as the HTC Explorer. Previously leaked as the HTC Pico, the HTC Explorer looks like a tiny phone that’s targeted to the entry-level/budget-minded user. It features some low-end specs that should be fine for running non-intensive apps, and viewing low res videos.
The HTC Explorer is rumored to feature a 600MHz processor, a 3.2″ HVGA display, 384MB/512MB RAM/ROM, a 5-megapixel camera, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.5. The phone will be available in two colors: black and blue, and should cost free with a contract. No word on a release date, but we wouldn’t be surprised if HTC announces it at tomorrow’s NYC event.
