These cows apparently broke through a fence in a field and munched on some cables, resulting in the Vodafone base station that provides service to that area getting disabled. Needless to say, this type of scenario certainly isn’t in any of the user manual’s troubleshooting section, hence taking several weeks of investigation by Vodafone to identify the problem and fix it.
According to a BT spokeswoman (who owns those chewed up cables), the link was already repaired by 5am today, and it just goes to prove one thing – a hungry cow is a dangerous cow – especially if your phone is your life! Let’s see, someone can certainly make a game out of this – after all, if you have Angry Birds, why not come up with Hungry Cows?
