It’s apparently compact enough to fit into a backpack and is about the size of a thick hardback book. It even sports a smart cover of its own and much like the iPads Smart Cover, when you cover the front portion of the speaker, it automatically turns it off (apparently it doesn’t turn it on when you take it off).
Like we mentioned earlier, it pairs with Bluetooth audio devices such as smartphones and tablets, and it seems that it will be sporting a battery life of about 8 hours of regular listening, and 4 hours at max volume. Now if you’re interested in getting your hands on the Bose SoundLink Wireless Mobile speakers, be prepared to fork out a fair bit of money for it. There are two versions available, a “standard” version that goes for $299.95 and a “LX” version that’s basically the same except it has been finished in an “automotive grade” chrome trim and a dark brown leather cover. The “LX” model will set you back $349.95.
