According to 9to5 Mac’s Mr. X (who also accurately reported details on the latest MacBook Air refresh), three new iPod touch models have appeared in the system, sporting the identifier N81A. N81 refers to the current generation iPod touch, and with rumors suggesting a white iPod touch, it has been speculated that perhaps the N81A could be talking about the white iPod touch and its 8GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities.
As far as iPhones are concerned, two iPhone SKUs have showed up in the inventory and have been marked as N90A, which suggests a possible iPhone 4S in black and white, although this has yet to be confirmed. There has yet to be mention of the iPhone 5 (which some are thinking will be labelled as the N94 in Apple’s inventory), iPod Classic or iPod Shuffle.
Could it be true that Apple only has plans for an iPhone 4S and will be killing off the iPod Classic and Shuffle, or did Mr. X only manage to catch a glimpse of the current inventory, which has yet to be fully updated before the 4th October event? We guess more will be revealed come 4th October, so stay tuned!
