There are whispers of an Amazon press conference which will be held this coming September 28th – that is just five days away, and the obvious candidate for an announcement would be the long awaited Amazon tablet. We still do not know much about the upcoming tablet apart from the fact that it, like the end of the world, is coming.

What’s your take on this press conference – will it be a pre-emptive strike against the iPhone 5’s imminent release? Granted, both are very different devices, but they are sure to make ripples in the gadget market.
