At IFA Acer announced that they will be releasing another Android device, this time with the Ferrari branding on it, and it will be called the Ferrari Liquid Mini. If the name sounds familiar it’s because it’s basically Acer’s Android handset, the Liquid Mini, with a Ferrari branding on it and painted in trademark Ferrari red.
The bad news is that if you remember the Liquid Mini, you’ll remember that it isn’t a very impressive device what with its 600MHz process, 512MB of RAM, 3.2” screen. The upside is that at least it comes with Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 as opposed to Froyo 2.2. Given how it has used the Ferrari brand name, which implies speed, power and performance, we have to say that the specs seem to imply the opposite, but if you’re a fan of the sports car, this is one handset we think you may want to add to your collection.
