However given the difference between the operating systems, Mac users would probably return to OS X and go for the MacBook Air for their portable needs. Unfortunately that decision also brought along with it an integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics card, which the 1GB AMD Radeon HD 6650M, found on the Sony Vaio Z, will most definitely trounce.
All of that may soon change as it seems that VillageTronic has started work on a Thunderbolt version of its ViDock PCI expansion chassis, that allows laptop users to hook up a PCI Express graphic card to their computer. Previously the ViDock was limited to just PC users but we’re guessing with the inclusion of the Thunderbolt port found on newer Mac computers, VillageTronic decided that a Thunderbolt version of their ViDock was due.
No word on when they will actually start production of the Thunderbolt version of the ViDock but if they did we’re guessing that gamers who own MacBook Airs will definitely be pleased.
