Scepter has just announced the launch of its new LED HDTV, the E325BV-HD. Besides its slim profile and the low price tag going for it, the LED HDTV is touted to be extremely energy efficient, with an estimated yearly energy cost of only $11! Now, it wasn’t mentioned how they came to this figure (for all we know, the company assumes we’ll be using the TV less than 5 hours a week) but for them to come up with such claims, they must have their reasons.

For those of you without external speakers, don’t fret – as the TV comes with its own set of internal 2×10 watt speakers with noise reduction filter, surround sound, equalizer settings and auto volume control. The TV is actually 31.5” wide, it has a resolution of 1366 x 768 (it is a budget TV after all) and 6.5ms response time. The E325BV-HD is available now for only $249.00. Any takers?
