The Q7000 5.1 system features four surround cabinets that measure only 24cm tall, combined with a dedicated centre speaker and subwoofer, this set up claims to be able to “move the goalposts”, or so Q Acoustic claims, but on top of its reported punch, the Q7000 5.1 is marketed as a stylish set of speakers, and based on the photo we have to agree that they are rather stylish with its black gloss finish. For those looking for a different color, the Q7000 is expected to feature a white gloss finish as well.
The satellite speakers are said to be full-ranged, packing a pair of 3” bass drivers and a 1” high-frequency tweeter into the aluminum frames, along with the subwoofer, which sees a 10” ultra-long throw bass driver integrated with a 250W amplifier.
If you’re not up for the speakers to be sat on a shelf or table, the Q7000 even features optional floorstands that also double up as wall or ceiling brackets. The Q7000 is expected to be made available for around £800 starting late September, while the floorstands will set you back another £125 per pair.
