
Of course, to get the LOL Shield up and running, you will need the LOL Shield Kit from the Maker Shed, get a soldering iron and some solder ready on hand (not to mention a steady hand to make sure the soldering process does not go awry), an Arduino, a PC nearby, a USB cable as well as wire snips.
It is also good advice to make sure you have a vise nearby, and with 133 little LEDs lying around, it would be best if you are a neat person at heart (and in practice). Enjoy this little DIY project which should keep you busy over the coming weekend!
