Hot Wheels upcoming remote controlled vehicles, the Nitro Speeders (which were shown off at the New York Toy Fair quite a while ago) are about to go on sale in a few months time. The tiny cars can go up to 8.3mph, which is said to be equivalent to 600 mph in the car’s 1/87th scale. Due to the cars’ fast speeds, users are going to have trouble maneuvering them in tiny places, but this means that the toys will be able to handle a vertical loop track with ease.
When not in use, the Nitro Speeders also fit into the remote control which doubles up as a portable storage container and charger at the same time, so your cars will be charged and ready to go whenever you reach your destination. The Nitro Speeders will be available in three designs: Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Ken Block’s Ford Fiesta this fall for $27.99 each. Check out a video demonstration:
